Apple filed a patent for an iMac desktop computer touch screen can be turned into iPad, as quoted from the Daily Mail.

Patents were filed in January, consists of a screen that can be adjusted for movement upwards or downwards and can switch operating systems from OS X to the iPhone operating system IOS.

Seemed to justify the patent rumors circulating on the internet that Apple is working on a design that would combine the iPhone’s intuitive touch screen into a more powerful engine.

Figure patent that contains a large flat-screen monitor that can swivel so as to resemble iPad in a larger version. To switch between the two modes to reach the end users can simply touch the screen where the sensor sends a signal to the computer to change the operating system.

Users are also able to determine exactly at what angle the device stopped working as an iMac and when it becomes a more or less like the iPad. Patent, called “Transitioning with modes of input” has been presented to the world intellectual property organization on January 14.

Last week, a Taiwanese newspaper reported that Apple will launch iPad 2 – which has a screen measuring 7 inches. The claim, published daily Economic Daily, stating that those Apple has contracted a number of Taiwanese companies to make components of the new device.
