Tata Select 3G Nokia Siemens Networks
Tata Teleservices Ltd. (TTSL) is India’s first private mobile operator that signed an agreement to assign its 3G telecommunications suppliers.
“We want to move fast, which we first define the key suppliers of technology and our 3G services. Nokia Siemens Networks has shown the ability in our previous deployment of 2G and disorong huge demand for Internet access in India,” said Mr AG Rao, chief technology officer and president , Enterprise Business, TTSL.
In a press release, TTSL has selected Nokia Siemens Networks’ technology to support the launch of 3G WCDMA-based networks including 3G and HSPA +, enables TTSL offers high-quality broadband that provides fast browsing on the Internet and voice call quality is better.
“With the strong expertise of local 3G, we can create a network of efficient and high quality that will satisfy customers TTSL,” said Urs Pennanen, head of the Indian Region, Nokia Siemens Networks.
