The name of another software manufacturer from Taiwan that is emerging middle of Trend Micro Inc. and Asustek Computer Inc., computer and cellular phone manufacturers.

Unlike the copycat iPhones, HTC is trying to provide a diversity of types of customer needs, there are cell phones with slide-out keyboards or touch screens. Apple has an online store, while HTC’s focus on mobile products with a choice of music and applications as needed.

HTC is behind Apple for the first quarter 2008 sales, had sold 3.7 million units while the American competitors are selling 4.4 million, Wallis-Jones report. Almost two years later, Apple’s lead with second-quarter sales this year as many as 8.4 million while 5.4 million HTC but HTC just see it as a sales spike. The company is targeting sales of 6.5 million units this quarter, double the shipments in the same period last year.

HTC may be less than smart phones that use Windows Mobile software output of Microsoft Corp. ‘proficiency level in these but when Google released Androidnya smart phone applications in 2008, HTC is the first company to utilize the software in its products and it is considered successful.
